Those who love the outdoors would be great admirers of the works of Jesse Pascarella.
But Jesse is more than just an artist as he is also an artist who specializes in creating art from his experience exploring the outdoors. Jesse is also well known for his Lure Landscape series and Custom "PB" Portraits. He believes the best way to commemorate those life changing moments in the element, is through art and collecting art themed around it.
Jesse came into the world in the year 1986 in New York. Like many 80's kids, he spent most of his free time drawing comic book characters and running around outside getting dirty (Until you hear your dads whistle heard through the neighborhood).
Although into many outdoor sports and activities, Jesse does have a few favorites he's dedicated his life to. Thus showcasing in his art. Some of those are fishing, hunting, snowboarding, surfing, kayaking, hiking and camping.
For his education, Jesse studied Graphic Design in Philadelphia, PA where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. This is where a separate passion for tattoo culture and the food and beverage industry grew. All the while participating in local art events. During this same period, he was already employed as a Graphic Designer at The Tactile Group.
Inevitably, to pursue his love for the outdoors and art. Jesse launched his career as an Art Director after relocating to Los Angeles and this started with joining the Little Arrows team where he showcased his illustration skills. To achieve this, Jesse often used hand drawn digital art to develop brand strategy and marketing campaigns.
Since he launched his creative career, he's had the pleasure working with brands like Lew's Fishing, Strike King Lure Company, Zebco Fishing, Toyota, Red Bull, Natures Bakery and Showtime. Along with other small businesses and start-ups. Where he has been featured at the Bassmaster Classic, in Forbes Magazine and Los Angeles Times.
All the while building, developing and co-running two art studios located in Downtown Los Angeles. Both spaces used as daily shared workspace and event space. Featuring other creatives in the fine art, design, tattoo, photography and video industry.
Jesse is a versatile artist and illustrator whose works Include mix-media fine art and digital illustration methods. He has been an advocate for protecting our environment, supporting sustainability by being members of the Sierra Club, B.A.S.S., Surfrider Foundation and Creative Action Network.
He's even extended his services voluntarily to a UK based publication, Viridis Magazine. Some of the best in positive and solution-based ecological journalism.
After experiencing many places in US, Jesse and his family decided to reside in South Carolina. Now working out of his private studio, he has dedicated his career and life to the pursuit of the outdoors. Building inspiration everyday whether he's kayak fishing on the lake, out hunting, overlanding, hiking or camping.
